Davy Crockett lived in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

It was not until I moved to Knoxville, TN that I understood that several areas of Tennessee claim Davy Crockett as a hometown hero. This statue stands in the center of Lawrenceburg, TN. My brothers and I used to play around it. There was a courthouse where the gazebo now stands.
