Lieut. Governor Ron Ramsey is running for governor

Ron Ramsey, the current Lieut. Governor, is seeking the nomination from the Republican Party for the office of governor of the state of Tennessee. Victoria Defreese and the South Doyle Homeowners' Association invited Lt. Gov. Ramsey to speak at their breakfast meeting on Friday, May 22, 2009. Ramsey says he is against a state income tax, for all rights for gun owners, and thinks he has the most experience working in state government of any candidate.
"It is one thing to run a city, quite another to run the state," he said to a crowd of about 30 at Shoney's on Chapman Hwy.
