Two denim quilts I made this week for the purpose of selling on Poshmark. I have sold 12 other quilts like these on the Poshmark Marketplace and think these will sell too.
The first one shown is 9 Patch pattern which is made by sewing 5 and 4 together. It looks like a checkerborad pattern, but is modified somewhat. The backing is made from random pieces of 100% cotton fabric. The quilt is about 66" x 62".
Poshmark limits packages to 5 lbs, so that limits the size of quilts.
This quilt is made using a Crazy Quilt pattern. The idea of a Crazy Quilt is taken from the fact that women would use whatever scraps they had leftover and had no pattern. They just went crazy with design. The backing for this quilt is a blue checkered which I purchased for $2 at a thrift store. That same piece of fabric would have been $12.99 a yard or over $25. Saving money is always great.
