After being awarded primary custody of his two minor sons, Jason Eric McLean returned to court in Knoxville, Tennessee today, March 27, 2009 seeking child support from his former wife, Erin Meyers McLean, who currently lives in Austin, Texas.
Erin did not show up for court, but she did send evidence showing her income which was shown to be $25,000 using W-2 forms obtained from her former attorney, Brandy Slaybaugh.
In another bomb shell, which is what court watchers have come to expect in this case, Slaybaugh sent a message via attorney Steve Sharp that she "no longer represents Erin McLean in this matter." Slaybaugh also said that she "didn't want to get sucked back into the case".
Judge Brenda Lindsay-McDaniel ordered the mom, Erin McLean, to pay Eric $581 per month in child support for the two sons.
McLean paused for a few minutes to comment that he and his sons were doing better. "Things are getting better," and "The boys are having a ball."
Attorney Sharp commented, "And that is what we wanted all along."
Eric McLean is serving a probation period of 12 years; his case is on appeal.

Book Review from Brian's Blog
1982 Knoxville Worlds Fair Book
This morning I read Martha Rose Woodward's book the 1982 World's Fair book. The book published by Arcadia. Brian's Blog previewed this book the weekend prior to the release date. Read the preview, here.
This book is like jumping in the Back To The Future Time car with Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and traveling back 26 years to the World's Fair when our "scruffy little city" hosted the world.
This book was well written from the perspective of someone attending the Fair 26 years after it closed and it is also written with the prespective of both those in favor of the World's Fair and even the group that opposed the World's Fair. It details the bumps in the road like too few bathrooms. The bathroom snafu was fixed with temporary restrooms. But in the end, the World's Fair was successful and this is a good addition to your library to show your children and grandchildren how and when the world came to Knoxville.
Visit the publisher here to buy the book or buy it on Amazon here.

Raynella smiling today, but how many voted guilty?
True Tv has been busy this week in Knoxville, TN with the murder trial of Raynella Dossett-Leath. The jury was hung and a mistrial was declared, but how many voted her guilty? Rumors have it that MOST of the jury thought she shot her husband to death.
Today, Raynella and her high priced attorney were celebrating in front of the cameras, but will she be so very happy the next go around?
Who is celebrating for David Leath who died in his sleep from a gunshot wound that tore his brain away from the brain stem?
Raynella said "David's soul can rest in peace." IF she was so very concerned about his soul, why did she have him creamated against his wishes?
Anyway you look at it, Raynella ia an evil person who gets rid of the people in her life when she gets tired of them.
