Little Girl's Dress Made From Man's Cotton, Dress Shirt
Use a men's cotton, dress shirt. Some men's shirts are longer in back than front, so adjust accordingly.
Use the bodice pattern from a girl's dress or place the size of dress you plan to make on top of the shirt.
Be sure both sides are wrinkle free and you cut both sides to match.
Cut sleeves and create facings for the arm holes.
Cut side seams using an A-line pattern.
Sew facings to arm holes.
Sew side seams. YOU ARE DONE.
Add a colorful ribbon, tie, or bow to collar.
You can add a kick pleat to one side if needed.

Sold 2 More Quilts--Total 54
Continue to sell denim quilts on Poshmark. Have 2 others listed at this point. Am working on a new one using the Tossed 9 Patch pattern. It takes longer to sew and includes some cotton fabrics other than denim. Every quilt I have listed has sold. These quilts are limited in size to somewhere in the 65" x 70" range due to the 5 pound limit set by Poshmark. As you can see from the photos a quilt of this size fits the top of a queen-size bed.

Poshmark Reseller--52 quilts listed and sold.
From November 2020 until December 2021 I designed, sewed, and listed 52 quilts
on the resellers' site Poshmark. I have sold all 52 quilts. The next one I have made
has a plain checkerboard pattern of light, medium, and dark 10" squares. It measures
60" x 70" and is going up for sale today or tomorrow 12-30-21. It does not seem
like I sewed that much, but the proof is in the sales' report and photos.
Recycling Denim In Variety of Ways:
After cutting squares or rectangles from denim jeans, dresses, blouses, shirts, or other items, numerous pieces of denim remain. I came up with a variety of items to make or cover in order to be mindful of using the denim. Denim fabric is very expensive--from $10 to $35 per yard. Feels wasteful to toss it away.
Scroll and view the many things I've made other than quilts.
