I planted this in April 2020 when I read that lettuce grows the fastest. It got to this size in 5 l/2 weeks. We are picking it daily and eating in salads and with bacon, tomato, and mayonnaise. Yum!
This much was the amount that came from 2 packages of seeds bought at Dollar General for $.50.

3 Quilts Completed for Quilts of Valor, One Top and Backing, and Donated
This pattern is "Tossed 9 Patch." Someone else pieced the blocks and I joined them into the top and had it quilted.
I designed and sewed this quilt from left over pieces from other quilts and fabric I had on hand during the shut down. I paid for it to be quilted and donated to Quilts of Valor to be given to a veteran.
I cut the pieces, sewed them together to form the top, and provided a backing. It has not been quilted yet, but I did donate it already.
This pattern is a 9 Patch using checkerboard to design the top. I had it quilted, too.
