I have begun work on a book for Arcadia Publisher's from South Carolina on a book in their "Images of America" series of history books. The book they hired me to write is "Knoxville's 1982 World's Fair". I need real photos (not sent by e mail) for this book. Martha's next speaking engagement

Martha will be speaking at Carpre Librum Bookstore on Saturday, August 23, at 2 p.m. and presenting a slide show and dvd about the Sunsphere. A great time to bring your children, meet Martha, and buy a book.

Writers' Guild hosts Open Mike Night

The July 3rd meeting for the Knoxville Writers' Guild was a big success as any member who wanted to was given 4 minutes to take to the microphone to read a selection from his/her own writing. Many poems were read as well as narrative descriptions or portins of novels.
